PASSPORT RENEWAL REQUESTS EXCLUSIVELY FOR ITALIAN CITIZENS RESIDING IN UPSTATE NEW YORK

Please be informed that on Friday, December 6 2024, Italian nationals registered with AIRE at this Consulate General of Italy in New York may submit a request for the issuance of the Italian passport at the IACC Italian American Community Center in Albany, NY.

The applicants must reside in the following Counties in the State of New York: Ulster, Dutchess, Broome, Delaware, Green, Columbia, Chenango, Otsego, Schoharie, Albany, Rensselaer, Madison, Herkimer, Fulton, Montgomery, Saratoga Schenectady, Washington, Oneida Hamilton, Warren, Lewis, Essex Jefferson, St. Lawrence, Franklin and Clinton.

Appointments must be set up with this Consulate General until December 3rd by sending an email here

Please attach the application form that can be downloaded here Modulistica – Consolato Generale d’Italia a New York

 and a copy of the previous Italian passport (if applicable).

Applicants will receive an email confirming the appointment which will indicate the time to arrive at the Italian American Community Center in Albany, NY.

Please be advised that on December 6th no one will be admitted without a confirmed appointment. Priority will be given to Italian nationals over the age of 75 and to those who are unable to reach the Consulate General in New York or the Honorary Consulate in Rochester, NY.

It is imperative that all documentation be presented along with a pre-paid priority envelope with a tracking number so that the passport may be sent to the address provided on the envelope.

Si informano i connazionali iscritti all’AIRE e residenti nello Stato di New York  esclusivamente nelle Contee di Ulster, Dutchess, Broome, Delaware, Green, Columbia, Chenango, Otsego, Schoharie, Albany, Rensselaer, Madison, Herkimer, Fulton, Montgomery, Saratoga Schenectady, Washington, Oneida Hamilton, Warren, Lewis, Essex Jefferson, St. Lawrence, Franklin e Clinton che venerdì 6 dicembre 2024 sarà possibile presentare la richiesta del rilascio del passaporto su appuntamento presso i locali della IACC Italian American Community Center ad Albany, NY.

Gli interessati dovranno richiedere entro il  3 dicembre 2024 

un appuntamento scrivendo una email a

e copia del precedente passaporto italiano (se posseduto).

I richiedenti riceveranno una email di conferma dell’appuntamento che indicherà l’orario a cui presentarsi presso l’Italian American Community Center ad Albany, NY.

NON saranno ammessi coloro che non avessero ricevuto l’email di conferma dell’appuntamento.

Nel caso non fosse possibile soddisfare tutte le richieste, verrà data priorità ai connazionali con età superiore ai 75 anni e a coloro che motiveranno la difficoltà a recarsi presso il Consolato Generale di New York o presso il Consolato Onorario di Rochester, NY.
